We take pride in our patient-focused approach, taking the time to discuss your treatment in detail and answer any of your questions. We are particularly mindful of nervous patients and helping everyone feel able to access dental care to improve and maintain their oral health.
Your first visit
When you arrive for your first appointment with us, we warmly welcome you to the practice and ensure you feel comfortable in our practice surroundings.
Your first appointment is longer and more detailed than your routine examinations will be going forward, as we get to know you and your mouth. We begin with asking some questions about your overall general and dental health, and if you have any medical conditions we should be aware of so we can tailor our care. We take a little extra time with our examination of your mouth, noting the condition of your teeth and gums and if there are any areas of concern. We take X-rays if these are necessary.
We also ask how you feel about your smile, and are happy to discuss our range of cosmetic treatment options if this is something you are interested in.
We create a bespoke treatment plan if you need any further care, and arrange your next routine examination appointment. We can also make you an appointment to see our hygienist, if applicable.
